    Low groundcover

Very grateful to mailordernatives for offering the Florida native Ruellia caroliniensis (Wild petunia) at their nursery! I’m in South florida and these are very hard to find, I waited almost 3 years for them to become available at this location. Very healthy looking on arrival via UPS and well packed. I ordered five and are ready to plug them in the ground. Eager to purchase more when they are available! They are a ground cover with violet blooms in spring and summer. Additionally, they are a host plant for the Common buckeye and visited by several native species of butterfly. A plus in a native Florida ecosystem!
