Torreya taxifolia (Florida Torreya) reaches 30-40ft. Endangered evergreen conifer that has stiff dark green needle-like leaves. Female plants have green - dark purple fruit that ripen in the fall. Florida Torreya can be found in the Florida Panhandle and in southern Georgia (just north of the Florida line) along the Appalachicola River. The species is considered endangered because it has been affected by a fungal disease that has wiped out a lot of the population. We will be offering known females and males in the near future.
Since Florida Torreya is on the endangered list, we are only certified to ship these plants to Florida and North Carolina. Orders from other states will be notified and refunded.

Quality of Torreya trees
I ordered 2 Torreya and they came in so well packed, and very healthy. They were much larger than I expected, which was a great surprise! The care taken to pack every order I have placed is incredible. I highly recommend this nursery!
