Was pleasantly surprised at the size of the tree I received. I was expecting a stick with a few leaves but it was tall and had many branches. Very good looking tree. The packaging was brilliant.

Was very happy to get this hard to find tree; a great budding tree for hungry migrating warblersI Planted it in a large pot all summer, and just transplanted in the ground as it is now about 3 ' tall now, and doing great!

    Toothache Tree

The Toothache Tree arrived looking healthy as did the other plants I received in the order. They were packed very well so there was no damage. I had requested a special ship date and I had added another plant on after I had placed the original order and both of these requests were honored perfectly. Every time I have ordered from Mail Order Natives they have provided excellent service and the plants I have gotten from them in the past are thriving. Mail Order Natives is friendly, informative and reliable. I have dealt with quite a few nurseries over the years and Mail Order Natives is the best.

    Looks good

It arrived well-packaged, and over the day or two after releasing it from its postal prison, the leafs straightened out and it it immediately started leafing out. Not two days later, I found a giant swallowtail absolutely besieging it with eggs! Will need to get some more, I suppose....

    Very healthy

My Hercules club did not come back to life last spring, so I've been wanting more. I ordered two and immediately got eggs from the giant swallowtail. This may sound strange, but we seem to have a lot of parasites this spring because of our warm winter, so I'm a little more protective of my caterpillars. Since the Hercules clubs are small enough to move around I actually brought them and their eggs inside a screened enclosure to try to keep them safe. Of course, that meant I needed to order more since the butterflies seem to prefer these over the citrus trees I have. It's sort of endless, but I do enjoy them so it's worth it. These trees arrived in great condition and extremely healthy. The butterflies must have noticed that, too.
