Ceanothus americanus (New Jersey Tea)
Many have asked for this plant, and now we are so excited to have it available. This low growing, drought tolerant shrub has showy white summer flowers. Small insects that pollinate the flowers are a food source for hummingbirds. SO, even though the flowers aren't red...look for those hummers!

New Jersey Tea
Arrived in great shape. Looked a little droopy first day or two after being planted but perked up and are looking good now! They've been in the ground about a week, the deer haven't touched them yet.

Tea Time
I looked and looked and waited for this plant, and Emily at Mail Order Natives did not disappoint. This online nursery is probably my favorite for variety, quality, and price.

Great service. Beautiful plant. Easy to put into the ground.

Ceanothus americanus
The three plants I ordered arrived well packed, with moist soil and healthy green leaves--very good condition. I would only suggest that a page of care and planting instructions might be placed on top of the contents to ensure the plants are well cared for (e.g. kept in the shade) before planting.

The New Jersey Tea is beautiful and hard to find. I use it to make tea because I like the taste. The plant arrived well packed with green leaves. I shall order again !

These were well rooted and very healthy. I wanted smaller plants to place under a mature oak. I can't wait to see how they grow and flower.
