Named for its small size, the Swamp Hobbit Florida Anise is a super dwarf Florida Anise that will stay small. Pictured in the pots are plants that are 2 years old! This unique anise would make a great landscape plant! The original plant was discovered in Coosa County, AL and reproduced through cuttings.

This plant has a strong pleasing aroma from the leaves. It is evergreen and appreciates partial shade. It has attractive red star-shaped flowers (just like the normal sized Florida Anise-flowers are not miniature).

Good communication; arrived well-packaged - no damage. Healthy looking -- expecting it to thrive.

Both plants were very well packed, they had a long way to go. They were lovely and showing the new growth in chartreuse which is why I bought them. This is my first purchase from and I was impressed. Thank you

    Perfect Plants!

Missed a chance to get this before, so jumped at the chance to order when it restocked! I try to plant natives in my landscape, and these should be a perfect replacement for my Hellebores. Very excited to see how these fill in overtime. Arrived in pristine condition despite shipping in June. One even has an adorable flower in bloom!
