My oak tree arrived in excellent shape and shows no evidence of transplant shock. It's now adorning the grounds of our branch library.
Quercus velutina (Black Oak) 50-60ft; bark turns black as it ages; can take a variety of soil conditions: poor, dry and sandy or rich, moist, acidic soils (well-drained)
