Stewartia Malocodendron
For years I've been hoping to grow this magnificent, elusive native shrub . I had my name on the wait list and grabbed one in a gallon pot as soon as it became available. My coveted plant arrived promptly and safely and was extremely well-packed in cardboard and shredded paper. I know Stewartia malocodendron can be tricky, and I'll be growing it in MA, where it's not always reliably hardy. It will, however, be planted on Cape Cod, a coastal region now classified as Zone 7, and where Stewartias in general do well. My fingers are crossed. Thank you, Mail Order Natives, for making my gardening dream come true. Whatever happens, I know it won't be your company's fault, since the plant I received is good-sized, healthy, and robust-looking. Honestly, I feel almost as if I'd received a unicorn in the mail. I hope to order from you company again and won't hesitate to recommend you to others.
