Stokesia laevis (Stoke's Aster) has beautiful blue/purple consistant summer and spring blooms. Can tolerate moist areas and does well in full sun to partial shade.

I ordered three in early April. They arrived with buds and began blooming the second week of May and look like they will thrive on the bank of our rain garden. We have deer pressure, and browse damage occurred to one plant, but no subsequent interest.
