Excellent shape on arrival. Well packaged. They should do great and give me some good fall color as they mature in the years to come. I’ve shopped a lot of online nurseries. Mail Order Natives is the best in my opinion.

    So Far So Good

The trees I ordered were all exactly as described and certainly as much if not more than what I expected for the price points offered. I was wanting to plant several new trees in my yard and this option allowed me to get several new trees started this fall. I can't wait to see this tree start to change colors & come back to life in the spring! Thank you!!

    Blackgum AKA Sour Gum

I purchased this from MailOrderNatives as everything I read about Blackgums said that they need to be transplanted while small. This is going to be my shade tree about 8 feet from my house. I know this plant will not damage my foundation (due to its deep tap root) and that it won't drop branches on my house in high winds. My mother's favorite color is vivid red so she'll be happy with it's fantastic fall color; and I'll be happy with the berries for my birds and the later bloom for the bees. I chose from MailOrderNatives as cultivars are prone to more insects due to less genetic diversity, and I'm so pleased with my tree!
