Description

Prunus angustifolia 'Guthrie' (apprx 12-15ft tall x 8-10ft wide) A MUST HAVE! an excellent selection made in north Florida by my father-in-law; large 1-inch diameter yellow-red fruit; delicious. In Florida the fruit ripens in June and the trees are absolutely loaded with fruit; seems to be virtually disease and pest resistant. Does not form colonies.
You will need 2-3 plants to get adequate pollination for fruit production.

    I was on the email waitlist for this particular plant, and ordered two as soon as I got the email saying they were back in stock. They got then shipped out quickly and the packaging kept them in good shape during shipping. I was expecting smaller, just propagated plants, but received well rooted food sized plants! They look healthy and happy! Thanks!

    I ordered two 'Guthrie' plums in late April. They shipping about a week later (which was communicated ahead of time). Upon arrival, they were packed exceedingly well with masses of paper strips to secure them within the box. I set them in the shade & gave them some water, then transplanted them after two days. They're growing very well now in full sun. I definitely will order from Mail Order Natives again. I also really appreciated being able to compost almost all of the packaging(!).

    Purchased two. Arrived quickly and were well rooted. What more can you ask for? Hopefully they will get some Odum plums rooted soon. Buy with confidence.

    I received the two Guthrie plum trees I ordered in a timely manner. They were planted soon after receiving them and seem to be doing fine.
