Description

Rhododendron x Colonel Mosby has very bright deep pink blooms with yellow accents. (From the "Confederate Series" of native azaleas). "The Confederate Series" was selected from a cross of Rhododendron austrinum and Rhododendron x 'Hotspur Yellow'. The cross was made by Bob Schwindt; seeds were planted from the plants, and selections were made by Bob himself to make up the popular "Confederate Series" of native azaleas. These azaleas do well in the deep south heat and humidity.

    Plant was incredibly well packed, using biodegradable materials. Slightly wilted from traveling, but within 15 minutes was standing tall. I’ll definitely be using Mail Order Natives for my future purchases.

    Hard to find azalea

    I was impressed as to the size of the azaleas. I bought one 12 years ago from elsewhere and it was only 12 inches tall. I would recommend buying from mail order natives. Received the plants in excellent condition and were packed very good. I would buy from them again. Order was sent very quickly after order was placed.
